What, me a cinematographer? Hmm, that’s sounds so strange. I’ve always been a still photographer. It’s a very new hat to be wearing and I’m still struggling to see if it fits.



I remember the first time I pulled out a video camera with any serious attempt at attaining real footage on a model—it was Jenna Jameson and she was only 18 (wow, I’m old) and had never done a movie. We were doing a still shoot and had just finished lunch. I had a new Beta-Cam video camera and asked Jenna if I could film her after lunch while she put lotion on her body(a typical procedure for us in order to make the girls skin look its best).

So there I was running my video camera on Jenna when she starting applying lotion in places I hadn’t instructed her to. Being me, the prudent professional I basically stopped filming at that point (looking back I realize what a fool I was). Little did I know Jenna would go on to be the biggest porn star ever and little did I know that someday I’d be really focused on running video cameras on girls most intimate moments.

Eventually with the inception of the web we started shooting video. Per the guidance of our producers we kept the camera wide and on a tripod with very simple backgrounds—essentially they were cheesy strip tease videos with no aesthetic merit.

Well, as the web got faster and able to handle larger files we realized we could actually put decent videos on our website and serve our members with moving versions of our girls that could be quite ‘moving’.



The first time I was behind a camera and a model went ‘all the way’ it was quite a shock. We had Jenna Haze in the studio and at the conclusion of her strip she just kept going. The truth of the matter was who was gonna stop her? Not me.

As much as I’d always tried to define my work as being that of erotic art and non-pornographic my first experience shooting a girl masturbate I didn’t feel like a sleaze I actually realized what an opportunity we had to produce this truly beautiful, intimate act with visual integrity—something that no one was really doing.

So, here we are years later, Mark, Charles, JP and I, running HD video cameras and really trying to duplicate our still quality onto moving images. If you read Zach’s Daily Word yesterday you were alerted to the fact that we’re about to release a new DVD title.
Furthermore, our plan is to try and do at least one a month. We’ve got way too much quality video content (edited) to not make it available in this form.

Below are some still shots from a few of my favorite videos—one from each of our main video sections—performances that shouldn’t be missed. One more thing, a word to all of you—never hesitate to give me feedback on our videos—we’re still learning and my eyes and ears are open to your input.
