Ladies and Gentleman—June gloom has just left the building.

One of my favorite memories is of the long road trips my family used to take during the summer months. I am guessing that Mom and Dad were into history because the old Buick always stopped at places like Indian burial grounds or fort settlements from the Revolutionary War years. One summer we trekked to what was and may still be the largest standing crucifix in the world. My little sister and I were so frightened that it was going to fall on us we prayed at the top of our voices—like the church scene in There Will Be Blood—and we meant it too.

But the best part of the whole vacation for me was always the “getting’ there”. Singing along to the radio, eagle-eyeing license plates of passing cars seeing how long it took us to complete the alphabet. Annoying our parents with alternating “are we there yet”s until the whole car broke out in laughter.

Today, like the rest of you (I hope), I will click on that upcoming schedule link on our site to see what the days ahead will bring me. And even though there is still fog at the beach (June gloom hasn’t really left) the sun shines in seeing that two of my new favorites are being released not only in video but also in high definition photo sets.
I speak of Jenna Nikol and the Czech beauty Ariel. Two different bodies with two totally different personalities and I am proud to be a fan of both.
