G'Day!

I hope this Tuesday finds you well!

As I was reviewing Digital Desire's July content yesterday a few thoughts crossed my mind(in no particular order because in hind sight I can't recall and it doesn't really matter)

1-I am really glad tomorrow's Daily Word is mine so I can share with the members(or possible members) some of the great content that is coming up in July.

2-J Stephen's Daily Word last week calling to attention his appreciation for Mark's and Charles' work. These 3 guys take amazing pictures(be it still or motion) that make beautiful girls special.

3-A great email conversation I had with a member about differing points of view. He had mentioned that he didn't find a particular pictures angle very appealing. I understood his perspective but shared with him the thought that the image evoked within me. From the photographic technique side I agreed with him that certain flaws were exposed in the model but in the image a story played out in my mind that overshadowed the technical lapse.

A picture is worth a thousand words is the hallmark of all photography and as with anything else the story behind the literal has always been more captivating for me---be it sports, politics or everyday interactions with humanity. Stephen, Mark and Charles have always strove to capture glamorous women in captivating settings but still maintain some semblance of the real. Art is not done for the sake of being merely artistic. Sure they take the artistry component in their work very seriously but there has to be an anchor point that attaches any viewer to the image. Enough said...here is the some shots from the upcoming July issue of Digital Desire.
