Digital Desire Studio News - 05-09-2008

Throughout these many years of shooting I've cycled through various shooting locales-my first (daylight) studio in West L.A., beaches in Baja Mexico, the coast of Australia, houses in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Palm Springs and other assorted Southern Cal homes, our Simi house (which we owned for less than two years) and now our new Ranch location.

At these various places I've shot with natural light, strobe light, tungsten light and fluorescent light. Some days it's challenging, some days exhilarating and some days horrifying. Each girl and location creates a whole new set of variables to try and coordinate for success.

Most of time these days we shoot at our Ranch-- a somewhat irresistible option for us as we can do so many different things here as all of our grip equipment, wardrobe and infrastructure is at our fingertips.

On a completely different subject I can tell you how much I normally don’t appreciate boob jobs. As you know if you’re a member of this site most of the ladies we photograph are naturally endowed. We rarely choose to shoot a girl with fake breasts.

Some of you may remember Meggan (March Creamgirl shot by Mark). Although very flat chested, Meggan was an incredibly beautiful young girl from Texas—a fashion models face with a perfect derrière.

A week ago Meggan came back to visit us at our offices with a new addition—two ripe new C cup breasts. As soon as I went into our test room to see her disrobed all I could say was “book her—I’m shooting her!” My ‘I hate fake breasts’theory went right down the toilet.

On Tuesday I was about an hour into my first pictorial with Meggan (at the Ranch) when I remembered JP had discovered an old burnt out house across the canyon that we possibly would be able to shoot at. I asked him to make a call and see if we could shoot there. I just felt Meggan looked so good she deserved (our maybe I did) somewhere special to be photographed for the first time with her two new additions.

It was one of those crazy sessions—great girl, great location, time running out and I was just loving it--one of those days when the model and the location created pure harmony for me.
