One of the many benefits of being a Hicks Photo employee is the exposure to athletics and team sport. And it makes good sense that a captain of a well sailing ship would want his crew in tip top shape. Each of us here has expressed at one time or another how much the concentration required to maneuver a mountain bike down a single track has helped with our daily devotions to digitaldesire. The stamina required to see 20:00 appear on the tread mill control panel doesn’t come easy but it certainly helps give me the endurance needed to power thru a ten to twelve hour day.

The latest and the greatest contribution from our coach is a regulation basketball standard. Freestanding in all of its ten feet of glory it has become a centerpiece in our courtyard and the bouncing sound of a ball is heard at random times trough out our day. Our companies manager, Todd, shows up at the Ranch a half hour early just to do some dribbling drills and shoot free throws. His three pointer has greatly improved.

This afternoon I again heard the hard bounce of the b-ball on the concrete and decided to bring on a little competition to whoever was below the rim. To my surprise it was our beautiful model who decided to get a little practice time in during her break. So instead of putting on my high tops I grabbed the Mark III and shot a few pics for you (and myself). I believe I made the right choice.
