Three songs are ringing through my head that mention the Wild Wild West and with that came the desire to rummage through our database for shots with a Wild West theme. I don’t usually get into the sets that have big art direction but when the fantasy is lingering and I’m wearing my boots and hat, I love them. As many of you committed “Word” readers know our home studio, Hicks Ranch, sits high on a hill in the Malibu Hills. It is the most serene environment filled with the sounds of a horse’s whinny, a donkey’s hee haw and where the skies are patrolled by the red tail hawk.




But my favorite site here in horse country is the cowgirl and it doesn’t matter if she is in the tight riding pants of the European equestrian or in a pair of skin tight faded Levi’s ala Western rider. So after about an hour of panning for gold, here are some of the nuggets that I found.
