Teamwork

A big part of what makes this job so rewarding for me is working with the guys here at the Ranch.

As much as I hate to admit it shooting the naked girls pales in comparison to creating, problem solving, and the general camaraderie around here.

Don't get me wrong, we all appreciate the feminine beauty that our lenses often bestow—but to a man I can kinda guarantee that it's the team/work process that drives us to be here.

I'd be a liar if I said that we all don't enjoy the budding, fresh beauty of young siren like Bailey.



It's been an especially busy last few weeks as we celebrated the birthdays of Andrew, Hilario, Michael, and Mark. We generally try to surprise the Birthday victim and then all gather round in sound. Here's Johnny & JP getting into some recent festivities.



But, I kid you not, it's not pure torture to spend the day pointing my lens at a girl like Julia.



When the weathers hot here we often take a break in the pool. Here's a shot of JP,Mark and I 'diving in' and below JP, Andrew and Johnny, just lounging.





There are other days when I'm poolside (shown w/ Shay here) and I must refrain from some poolside activities.



The boys are usually very serious and rarely take a moment for humor or fun. JP, Johnny & Mark are shown here, working hard.



Here's a shot of me hard at work with Britney—the stress was unbelievable.



And having to photograph Lindsay here, was rough, to say the least.



Seriously though, sometimes it is truly tough. Like this shot of our webmaster Andrew here, needing more than his crutch to stay upright.



Or poor Mark and I trying to clear Renee off the table so we can finish lunch.



But occasionally there is reason to smile. Like JP here suffering through a day of work with Erica.



Or me, getting the right shot of Victoria.



The joys are simple, the joys are plenty. And we're too manly to share in it like in the shot of JP and me celebrating a great video.



But there is no greater joy than throwing this touchdown pass to Todd yesterday over Mark's flailing arms.



Well OK, except maybe looking at my digital viewfinder and absorbing the satisfaction of what our team just created of a beautiful girl.
