Happy Halloween
The season of the witch is upon us and for the last week the frenzied discussion of costumes and parties abound at the ranch. Individual stories swirl like the canyon wind bringing the haunting sounds of lost life returning to these hills. The reported sound of galloping back and forth down Trunfro Canyon Road and the sight of a long haired girl wearing a white nightdress upon this transparent black steed.
A little closer to home, although Trunfro Canyon Road runs a mere three hundred feet below the Ranch, Markus has reported the sound of children's footsteps running down the hall and the vision of a young girl standing within the glow of a soft white light staring out the window. This story was told to me the night I stayed up here during fire watch and as many times as I looked down that hallway, nothing. I was later told that if you want to see a ghost they never appear, you have to remain unsuspecting.
One thing guaranteed to appear around here are pretty girls. I did a little work to come up with some shots of the "little pretties" we put into costume. Hope y'all enjoy.
